ABOUT US

Our Story

The Mississippi Community Financial Access Coalition (MCFAC) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to expanding access to financial education, resources, and services for individuals and families across Mississippi.

MCFAC brings together a diverse network of community and faith-based organizations, social service agencies, financial institutions, universities, and local, state, and national partners. By working collaboratively, we strive to build stronger, more inclusive financial systems that empower people to achieve stability, build wealth, and reach their long-term goals.

For more than a decade, MCFAC has been committed to providing trusted financial literacy programs, workforce readiness training, and access to safe, affordable financial products. Our initiatives include financial literacy bootcamps, credit-building workshops, homebuyer education, and small business financial coaching.

At the core of our mission is a belief that everyone deserves the tools and opportunities to make informed financial decisions. Whether through group workshops, one-on-one coaching, or partnerships with banks and credit unions, MCFAC equips individuals with the knowledge and confidence to manage money effectively and pursue brighter financial futures.
